I am using Kali Linux version 2020.3. Since yesterday, the part called the top panel, toolbar or top bar has been missing.
The top panel can be opened and closed normally via Desktop> Right Click> Applications> Settings>Panel.
But when I tried this way, I was getting an error saying
How did it happen? Why did it happen? I had no idea about it but no matter how hard I worked, I couldn't bring it back. I did a lot of research on the internet, but there was no source showing how to retrieve it. Finally I tried the way I saw it from an English source and it worked really well. Now I am writing the solution for those who have the problem:
