Description
Motherboard is the name given to the paths used to transmit information from one of the parts to another. It's divided into two in itself. The first is FSB (Front Side Bus), and the second is Other Roads. These Other Ways are divided into four in itself. ISA (Industry Standard Architecture), PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect), AGP (Advanced Graphics Port) and the last one is PCI-e (PCI Express).
What is FSB (Front Side Bus)?
It is the bus that provides communication between the processor and the motherboard. All data from the processor system is provided by FSB bus.
It's on the North Bridge.
What is ISA (Industry Standard Architecture)?
It is a bus with an eight mhz clock speed on the motherboard, but it was abandoned a few years ago.
The first is the type of bus produced.
It is no longer produced.
There is a 16-bit bus width.
It has black slots.
What is PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect)?
The type of bus developed by Intel is providing the connection between other units that exist on the computer and subsequently added volumes. PCI-Express and AGp with higher speeds were later used.
Plug Supports Play feature.
Their nests are white and larger than the ISA.
They operate at 33Mhz and 66Mhz.
